Smart City System Parking Solutions GmbH
Smart City System is a start up from the metropolitan region of Nuremberg that deals with the digitization of parking areas with the help of sensors. Founded in 2017 by five students, we've rapidly grown and already installed more than 45,000 sensors throughout Germany and other European countries. We digitize parking areas with the help of sensor technology to improve the search for, management and use of parking spaces in cities. In this way we want to reduce parking pressure in city centres and thus also traffic. After all, 30% of inner-city traffic is caused solely by the search for parking space. With our solution, we want to reduce traffic, the stress of citizens and, ultimately, harmful emissions in the city centre.
