Mike Hewitt

Mike has spent 35 years working in networks, from his first role as an engineer in his native New Zealand to senior leadership positions in Europe where he has managed operations and infrastructure for data centres. In a former CTO role, Mike led a team which developed Technology Solutions to the UK Public Sector. He spent five years working to improve technology in the rail industry, leading the team developing high speed network upgrades to Network Rail. Before joining DCC in August 2020, Mike was Head of Optical Networks for a company innovating around the future of connectivity - including 5G, broadband and WiFi networks.
