Adrian Wojnowski currently serves as Program Manager for Clean Air Transport at Smart Freight Centre since August 2023. Prior experience includes a role as Sustainability Manager at DB Schenker from April 2022 to July 2023, where Adrian focused on developing a Scope 3 Science Based Target and managing internal emission reporting systems. Previously, Adrian held the position of Sustainability Analyst, performing customer emission reporting and corporate carbon footprint analysis. At Wilo Group, from August 2019 to March 2022, Adrian conducted a master's thesis on Scope 3 emissions in transport logistics. Early career experience includes positions in customs and trade and warehousing logistics, complemented by educational achievements, including a Bachelor of Science in Business Logistics, a Master of Science in Applied Sustainability, and ongoing studies toward a Master of Arts in Political Science at FernUniversität in Hagen.

Smart Freight Centre (SFC) was established in 2013 as a global non-profit organization and aims to make the global freight sector more efficient and environmentally sustainable. SFC is dedicated to remove market barriers and leverage existing initiatives to catalyze the uptake of practical solutions throughout industry that improve fuel efficiency, reduce emissions and lower operating costs. SFC can play this role because it is a fit-for-purpose organization with secured funding, independent from industry or government, and has a global network across stakeholder groups.
