Megan de Langen is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as Communications Manager and previously as Communications Coordinator at Smart Freight Centre since August 2019, Megan has a strong background in delivering communications for social action projects at York CVS from May 2016 to April 2019. Earlier roles include Front Desk Receptionist at The Stables Yoga Centre, English Teacher with EPIK in South Korea, and English Language Teacher at Berlitz Spain. Megan holds a First Class BA in Art History and Visual Studies from The University of Manchester, earned between 2007 and 2010.

Smart Freight Centre (SFC) was established in 2013 as a global non-profit organization and aims to make the global freight sector more efficient and environmentally sustainable. SFC is dedicated to remove market barriers and leverage existing initiatives to catalyze the uptake of practical solutions throughout industry that improve fuel efficiency, reduce emissions and lower operating costs. SFC can play this role because it is a fit-for-purpose organization with secured funding, independent from industry or government, and has a global network across stakeholder groups.
