Shixin Li is a seasoned communication professional with extensive experience in strategic communication and campaign management across various organizations. Currently serving as the Communication Manager for Smart Freight Centre since November 2022, Shixin previously held roles at WWF-China from January 2018 to October 2022, where responsibilities included developing integrated communication plans and producing various communication materials. Earlier experience includes serving as an Assistant Communication Officer at Oxfam Hong Kong, focusing on social media campaigns and content creation, as well as a Social Media Specialist at Sinovator, where Shixin executed social media strategies. Shixin also has experience in academia as an Assistant Instructor at Indiana University Bloomington and has interned with the UN Department of Public Information. Shixin holds a Master's degree in Global Journalism from Indiana University Bloomington and a Bachelor's degree in Communication from Hebei University, along with participation in an exchange program at the University of California, Berkeley.

Smart Freight Centre (SFC) was established in 2013 as a global non-profit organization and aims to make the global freight sector more efficient and environmentally sustainable. SFC is dedicated to remove market barriers and leverage existing initiatives to catalyze the uptake of practical solutions throughout industry that improve fuel efficiency, reduce emissions and lower operating costs. SFC can play this role because it is a fit-for-purpose organization with secured funding, independent from industry or government, and has a global network across stakeholder groups.
