Ugur Kuter

Ugur Kuter is an experienced expert in artificial intelligence and computer science, currently serving as a SIFT Fellow at Smart Information Flow Technologies since February 2022. In this role, Ugur leads key initiatives including the Army’s Advanced Teaming program and DARPA’s SCORE program, focusing on distributed planning, team coordination, and methods to analyze scientific publications. Previously, Ugur held various positions at SIFT from March 2011 to February 2022, including Principal Scientist, where responsibilities encompassed leading significant projects for AFRL and DARPA. Ugur's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Computer Science with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Maryland, along with Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from Middle East Technical University.
