Steven Delahunty

Steven Delahunty is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in DevOps and systems engineering. Currently serving as Technical Lead and Senior DevOps Engineer at Smart Pension since August 2021, Steven plays a pivotal role in transitioning applications from a legacy monolith to a Kubernetes-deployed microservices architecture, while also developing modular Terraform implementations. Prior to this, Steven was a Senior DevOps Engineer at Azoomee, where the deployment of a Docker microservices cluster and implementation of a geo-blocking SVOD system contributed to global distribution deals. At News UK, Steven managed infrastructure for The Times tablet and migrated legacy cloud resources to updated AWS solutions, emphasizing infrastructure as code. Other previous roles include Systems Administrator at Michaeljohn Training School and Support Worker at Autism Initiatives. Steven holds a BA(Hons) in Information and Communication, Information Technology from The Manchester Metropolitan University.
