Chelsey Russell

Chelsey Russell has significant experience in internal communications and human resources, currently serving as a Banking Officer and Internal Communications Manager at SmartBank since April 2019. In these roles, Chelsey has developed and executed internal communication strategies that enhance organizational engagement and understanding, while collaborating with business units and senior leadership to support company objectives. Previous roles at SmartBank include HR Data Manager, where Chelsey analyzed HR data for trends related to recruitment and compliance, and HRIS Administrator, responsible for maintaining the human resource information system. Prior to SmartBank, Chelsey held various positions at Food City / KVAT Foods Inc., including Assistant Store Manager, Human Resource Coordinator, and Frontend Manager. Chelsey earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, between 2010 and 2014.
