David Scott

David serves as Middle Tennessee’s Regional President for SmartBank. With more than 31 years of experience in the banking industry, he leads our relationship management teams in providing financial solutions to clients, prospects, and the communities in which he lives and serves. Additionally, David oversees community involvement throughout his market area. David is a graduate of Western Kentucky University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance. Prior to joining SmartBank, he served as City President for Regions Bank where he held other various positions during his 26 year tenure. David is actively involved in his community and currently serves as a Board of Director member for the Murfreesboro City School Foundation and the American Heart Association in Rutherford County. He is also on the Finance Committee for United Way of Rutherford and Cannon Counties.
