Steve Simpson

Steve Simpson has over 10 years of experience in the banking industry. Steve began their career as a Business Relationship Manager at BBVA Compass in 2009. In 2012, they became a Branch Officer at BancorpSouth where they lead the main office for the Baldwin Community Market. In 2015, Steve became Vice President at First Community Bank. Steve remained in this role until 2019 when they joined SmartBank as a Board Member.

Steve Simpson has a graduate certificate in banking and financial support services from the Alabama Banking School. Steve also has a SIX SIGMA Green Belt certification from Villanova University. Steve has a bachelor's degree in business administration, management and operations from Troy University.
