Dimitar Kolchev has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Dimitar started their career as a Computer Specialist at MOST Computers LTD in 2004, where they were responsible for assembling and disassembling computers, handling data input and transfers, and ensuring database security. In 2008, they moved on to My computer Varna LTD as a Deputy Manager.
In 2012, Dimitar transitioned into a managerial role, serving as Manager at The Corner Piano Bar & Dinner, Villa Spaggo, The Cotton Club, and Rappongi Beach. In this position, they recruited and trained employees, maintained quality service standards, and resolved customer service issues.
In 2018, Dimitar took a training course at Skillo, gaining additional skills and knowledge in their field. Dimitar then joined Skillo as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer in 2020, where they remained until 2022. In this role, they ensured the quality of software products by creating and executing test plans, identifying and tracking bugs, and working with cross-functional teams.
From 2019 to 2020, Dimitar worked as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer at RISCO Group. Here, they performed a wide range of testing activities, developed testing processes, and collaborated with internal teams to meet client requirements.
Most recently, Dimitar joined Smart IT - Smart Innovative Technologies in 2020 as a Senior Software QA Engineer. Their responsibilities in this role include ensuring the quality of software products and utilizing various tools and technologies such as Azure DevOps, TFS, JIRA, and Docker.

In 2010, Dimitar Kolchev enrolled in the University of Economics - Varna for their Bachelor's degree in Economics and Construction Management. Dimitar completed this degree in 2014.
After completing their Bachelor's degree, Dimitar pursued further education. From 2014 to 2015, they attended the University of Economics - Varna again, this time for a Master's degree in Business/Managerial Economics.
In 2019, Dimitar attended the Software University (SoftUni) for a course in C#.
In addition to their formal education, Dimitar has obtained several certifications. In 2018, they became a Quality Assurance Engineer, obtaining the certification from Skillo. In 2019, they completed various tutorial courses, such as Programming Basics with C#, C# Tutorial course, JavaScript Tutorial, HTML Fundamentals, Java Tutorial, SQL Fundamentals, and jQuery Tutorial. These courses were completed through institutions like Software University (softuni.bg) and SoloLearn.
Furthermore, in 2022, Dimitar obtained a certification in Automation testing with Java and WebDriver from Skillo.
