Jonny Genese

Jonny Genese currently serves as Chief Strategy Officer and Sales Director at Smartology.net since April 2022. Previously, Jonny held various sales roles, including Regional Sales Manager at The Washington Post and Client Partner at The Wall Street Journal, where Jonny advanced through multiple positions from Advertising Sales to Global Account Executive. Early career experiences include roles as Senior Sales Executive at dmg events, Business Development roles at Reed Exhibitions and TENT London, and Field Sales Executive at Archant. Jonny began in media as an Assistant Producer and Unit Assistant at BBC Radio 1. Educational background includes a BA in English Literature from Royal Holloway, University of London, and initial studies in Radio Production & Media at The University of Manchester.
