Matt Wheelis

Matt Wheelis serves as the Senior Vice President of Strategy for the Build & Construct Division at Nemetschek Group since October 2020, focusing on strategic direction and growth initiatives within the company. Previously, Wheelis held roles such as Vice President of Industry Strategy and has been actively involved as an advisor for several companies including Bluebeam, Inc., NEVARIS Bausoftware GmbH, and SmartPM Technologies, among others. Prior experience includes significant positions at Leica Geosystems, managing business development in the US and Canada, and roles at Autodesk where Wheelis led industry management and product line strategy. Educationally, Wheelis holds a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University, a BA in Accounting from Southwestern University, and completed the National Science Foundation's Innovation Corps Program at New York University.
