Bhupendra Jha has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Bhupendra is currently the Chief Business Officer at SmartQ since April 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Chief Sales Officer (CSO) at SmartQ from April 2021 to March 2022.
Before joining SmartQ, Bhupendra worked at HungerBox as the Business Head for Delhi-NCR from July 2018 to April 2021.
Bhupendra also has experience as the Co-founder & CEO of FoodeeBro, a food-tech company, from October 2015 to June 2018. At FoodeeBro, Bhupendra led corporate business development, relationship management, product, and strategy.
In the financial sector, Bhupendra worked at HSBC Commercial Banking as a Vice-President - International Relationship Manager from December 2014 to September 2015. Bhupendra was responsible for managing portfolios, onboarding new corporate clients, and leading cross-functional teams.
Prior to HSBC, they worked at Citibank India as a BD & RM, Commercial Lending from December 2012 to December 2014. Here, they managed portfolios, conducted credit underwriting, and led cross-functional teams.
Bhupendra started their career at ICICI Bank as a Relationship Manager for Corporate Clients (Agro-processing) from June 2010 to December 2012. Bhupendra was responsible for managing client relationships and handling commercial, investment, and international banking products.
Before entering the corporate world, Bhupendra pursued their education at the Indian Institute of Management, Indore, where they completed a management program from July 2008 to March 2010.
Their earlier experience includes working as an Application Developer at IBM Global Services from October 2005 to May 2008.
Bhupendra Jha completed their MBA in Business Administration and Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Indore from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they obtained their B.Tech degree in Electronics & Communication from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology between 2001 and 2005. Bhupendra started their education at Kendriya Vidyalaya from 1992 to 2000, focusing on Maths/Science during this period.
