Karim Fahmi has a diverse range of work experience. Karim started their career as a Technical Support Specialist at SITEL in 2007, where they provided second-tier support and resolved technical issues for customers. In 2008, they joined Future Shop as a Product Technician, responsible for servicing and maintaining electronics products before becoming a Cell Product Expert, where they led the Cell Shop team, set sales targets, and achieved performance goals.
Fahmi then transitioned to SmartSimple Software, starting as an Application Support Specialist in 2013. Karim successfully managed customer engagements and provided exceptional customer support. Karim later became a Pre-Sales Technical Analyst, gathering client and market requirements for the rapid deployment engagement model.
In 2016, Fahmi was promoted to Director, Rapid Deploy and Pre-Sales, where they drove the development and configuration of minimum viable product offerings and managed new client acquisitions. Karim then became the Director of Deployment, responsible for developing and configuring business solutions and managing project acquisitions.
Currently, Fahmi holds the position of Chief Implementation Officer at SmartSimple Software. Karim leads a global team of project managers, consultants, and managers, ensuring consistent delivery within budget, timeline, and scope. Fahmi also develops and manages implementation roadmaps aligned with the company's overall strategy and goals.
Karim Fahmi obtained their Bachelor's degree in Information Technology specializing in Business System Analysis from York University, which they attended from 2008 to 2012. Additionally, they pursued a Minor in Business during their time at York University from 2010 to 2012.
