Dalton Braun is an experienced Electrical Designer at SMART Technologies, involved in IFP product development and support since November 2021. Prior to this role, Dalton served as a Hardware Developer at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) from January 2019 to November 2021, focusing on applied research and development. Dalton has also held positions including Electrical Engineering Co-Op at AML Oceanographic, where responsibilities included testing hardware and improving procedures, and Vice President Academic for the UVic Engineering Students' Society, advocating for student interests. Earlier experiences include roles in research and development, quality control, and machine shop labor. Dalton holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the University of Victoria and an Electronic Engineering Technology diploma from SAIT. Additional education includes an Advanced Diploma in Electrical & Computer Engineering and coursework at Mount Royal University.
