Kent Gividen

Kent provides decades of experience as a software engineer. Prior to Smarty he worked at Novell where he developed custom solutions for high profile customers as well as led his team on a number of consulting development engagements. Kent has also started a few of his own companies, so his experience in startups is also extremely valuable. Kent primarily works in Go at Smarty, but he's also worked in Javascript, Node, Angular, Java, JMS, SQL, Spring, jQuery, Novell Identity Manager, LDAP, HTML, CSS, and several other languages. They count on Kent's vast knowledge and skill set as they continue to make Smarty better every day.
