Prior to this role, John worked at Lockheed Martin for 26 years, where significant contributions included leading or supporting over 960 Advanced Development Programs proposals, resulting in $1.5 billion in new business, with an impressive average win rate of 88%. John's accolades include the Skunk Works Medallion Award and the Bronze Skunk Award for excellence in capture and proposal efforts, as well as being the first proposal manager to receive the Aero Star Award in the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Biological Science from California Polytechnic State University and an MBA from National University. John also served as an E-5 Avionics Technician in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, providing a foundational experience that complements a distinguished career in managing complex R&D proposals.
