Smile Train
Erin joined Smile Train in 2013 and serves as Senior Vice President, Programs. She has more than ten years of experience working with cleft lip and palate surgical programs around the world and oversees Smile Train’s programmatic strategy and innovative initiatives in education, training, research and comprehensive care.
Prior to joining Smile Train, Erin was the Associate Vice President of Program Development at Operation Smile. She also spent time in the private sector as an attorney in the London offices of Allen & Overy, LLP. Erin’s work at Smile Train focuses on strengthening treatment programs and access to care for children with clefts and overseeing innovative programming to build the capacity of health professionals in 90+ countries to offer safe, high-quality surgical treatment and related comprehensive cleft care.
She holds a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law and a BA from Arcadia University. Erin also serves on the Board of the CORE Group, an organization dedicated to improving health practices for vulnerable populations.
