Since January 2001, Erwan has served as the Executive Director at Smile Open Source Solutions, where responsibilities include overseeing the Skill Center in France as part of the executive committee. Prior to this role, Erwan worked at CGG from October 1998 to December 2000 as a Quality Engineer, focusing on the quality monitoring of seismic data for Petrobras. Erwan's career began at the Institut polaire français Paul-Émile Victor, where engagement in geomagnetic and seismic studies took place from November 1996 to February 1998, specifically in the Indian Ocean region. Erwan holds a degree from Centrale Nantes, completed in January 1996.
