Edwin Verdurmen is an experienced financial professional with a robust background in financial control, reporting, and management across various sectors. Currently serving as the Regional Business Controller for Smit Lamnalco since March 2018, Edwin previously held positions including Group Accounting & Reporting Manager and Manager Financial Control at Boskalis, where responsibilities included developing financial controls and streamlining legal structures. Edwin's extensive career also includes serving as Chief Financial Officer at Fairmount Marine B.V., Company Controller at Wärtsilä United Arab Emirates, and Controller at AC Analytical Controls, where experience encompassed statutory reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and team management. With a foundational education in auditing from Erasmus University Rotterdam and business management from HZ University of Applied Sciences, Edwin brings a wealth of expertise in IFRS and GAAP standards, complemented by a solid tenure in both local and international environments.
