Robert-Jan van Acker

Robert-Jan van Acker has extensive experience in the maritime industry. Robert-Jan started their career in 2000 as the Managing Director for the Middle East area at Svitzer. Robert-Jan later became the CEO of Svitzer Europe Holding in 2005, where they served until 2011. From 2011 to 2012, they were the CEO of STG Sea Trucks Group. Robert-Jan then joined Fairstar Heavy Transport NV as the CEO from 2012 to 2013. Van Acker then held various roles at Boskalis, including Divisional Managing Director of Towage and Salvage from 2013 to 2016, and later as the Group Director from 2016 to 2019. In 2019, they became the CEO of Smit Lamnalco.

Robert-Jan van Acker holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from IMD.
