Sunit Kumar has over three decades of experience in finance and accounting leadership roles across various companies. Currently serving as the Controller for the Middle East and Indian Subcontinent at Smit Lamnalco since December 2002, Sunit Kumar leads a team responsible for financial management and strategic planning in the region. Previous positions include Finance Manager for the Middle East and Group Internal Auditor, where responsibilities included risk management, strategic business plan implementation, and internal control assessments. Prior to Smit Lamnalco, Sunit Kumar was Financial Controller at SABA International Co. and Senior Vice President of Finance & Administration at KMF LTD., where significant achievements included transforming a closely held company into a publicly traded entity. Educational qualifications include a Chartered Accountant designation from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a B Com (Hons) degree from Delhi University.
