Wouter Nieuwveld has extensive work experience in financial and management roles. Wouter currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at Smit Lamnalco since September 2019. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at KOTUGSMIT TOWAGE from April 2017 to September 2019. Before that, they worked as the Division Controller Towage and Salvage at Boskalis from September 2014 to April 2017. Wouter also held the position of Senior Business Controller at Imtech N.V from May 2013 to September 2014. Wouter began their career at KPMG, where they worked for several years, starting as a Supervisor Audit from October 2002 to September 2006, then progressing to the role of Manager Audit at KPMG Rotterdam from October 2006 to August 2009. Finally, they served as a Senior Manager at KPMG from August 2009 to April 2013.
Wouter Nieuwveld has a diverse education history. Wouter attended Rijksscholengeemeenschap - Oud Beijerland from 1988 to 1994, where they earned their VWO degree. Wouter then went on to study at Erasmus University Rotterdam from 1994 to 1999, although their degree name and field of study during this period are unknown. Wouter later pursued a postgraduate degree in auditing at Erasmus University Rotterdam from 1999 to 2002. Finally, they completed their education at the same university, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Fiscal Law from 2002 to 2009.
