Kurt Cunningham

Kurt Cunningham, P.E. is an Associate Mechanical Engineer at SmithGroup, where responsibilities include HVAC engineering and design since May 2010. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at the University of Michigan, focusing on the design and construction of a 100 mpg hydraulic hybrid passenger car from May 2009 to April 2010. Kurt also gained mechanical engineering experience through internships at SmithGroupJJR in both the Building Technology Studio and the Science and Technology Studio in 2007 and 2008, respectively, as well as conducting research in the Radiological Health Engineering Laboratory at the University of Michigan from September 2005 to April 2006. Kurt holds a Master of Science in Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, both in Mechanical Engineering, from the University of Michigan.
