Mark Henderson

Mark Henderson is a seasoned talent development professional with extensive experience in strategic human resources. Currently serving as Senior Manager for Talent Development at Smiths Group plc since March 2022, Mark previously held the role of Senior Business Partner for Talent at the Universities Superannuation Scheme (Ltd), where responsibilities included overseeing performance management, learning and development, and succession planning for the UK's largest private pension fund. Prior experience includes significant contributions as a Talent & OD Consultant at Lloyd's Register, where Mark implemented global capability assessment frameworks and revamped performance management processes, and also as HR Programmes Manager, involving cultural validation of behavioral competencies. Mark holds a degree in Business & Marketing from Farnborough College of Technology and multiple professional qualifications, including MCIPD and Prince 2 Practitioner.
