Danielle N. Carter, MA, is an experienced copyeditor and proofreader specializing in museums, arts, and culture, currently operating under her own company since March 2016. Danielle has held various copyediting roles, including positions with the Smithsonian Institution, the National Folk Museum of Korea, and the ICOM - International Council of Museums, where Danielle focuses on editing texts for clarity and effectiveness. In addition to editing for academic journals and books for TASCHEN, Danielle serves as an Editorial Advisor for Culture Caleidoscoop, leveraging expertise as a co-founder and editor. Previous experiences include museum docenting and educational roles at notable institutions such as the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, and Princeton University Art Museum, supported by a solid educational background in arts and editing.
