Vanessa Jones

Vanessa Jones is an experienced accessibility specialist currently serving at the Smithsonian Institution's National Portrait Gallery since November 2015. Previously, Vanessa held various roles at the American Alliance of Museums, including project coordinator for The Center for the Future of Museums and peer review program manager. Additionally, Vanessa worked at the National Building Museum as a volunteer and schools program coordinator and gained curatorial experience as an intern at the National Gallery of Art. Vanessa holds a master's degree in Museum Education from The George Washington University and a master's degree in Art History from The Courtauld Institute of Art, along with a bachelor's degree in French and International Studies from the University of Miami and study abroad experience in Political Science from Sciences Po Grenoble - UGA.
