Richard Welsh is currently the SVP Innovation at Deluxe, focusing on systems and technology innovation across the media supply chain. Richard is also the Executive Vice President and board member at SMPTE. Previously, Richard co-founded Sundog Media Toolkit Ltd and served as the CEO. Richard has a background in film and video technology, broadcast, cinema sound, and digital cinema mastering. Richard has extensive experience in the media industry and has held various leadership positions at companies like Dolby Laboratories and Technicolor. Richard holds a BSc (Hons) in Media Technology and an Honorary Doctor of Technology in Media Technology.
