The Research and Laboratory Team at the Sports Medicine Research and Testing Lab (SMRTL) is responsible for conducting advanced analytical testing to detect performance-enhancing substances and other drugs of abuse in athletes. They utilize cutting-edge technologies such as isotope ratio mass spectrometry and work within WADA and A2LA ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation standards to ensure the integrity and reliability of test results for professional, Olympic, collegiate, elite amateur, and high school athletes.
