Tim Padden

Tim Padden, MBA, currently serves as the Regional and Local Government Affairs Program Manager at SMUD, where responsibilities include leading the Regional and Local Government Affairs team and managing teams to achieve legislative, regulatory, outreach, and compliance objectives. Padden has a diverse background in economic development, having previously held positions such as Real Estate Services Manager for the City of Vacaville and Economic Development Manager for the City of Sacramento. Earlier experience includes roles at TJP Consulting, the City of Salem Economic Development Division, and SHRA, where Padden focused on business retention, urban development projects, and revitalization initiatives. Padden holds an MBA from the University of Arizona, a B.A. in Government from California State University-Sacramento, and a Master of Public Administration from the University of San Francisco.
