Julie Knapp has over 25 years of work experience. Julie is currently the Head of People at SnapScan, a role they began in November 2021. Prior to that, from April 2018 to October 2021, Julie served as the Chief People Officer at Wetu Travel Technology. Before that, from January 2015 to December 2017, they were the Snr. Group Manager - Human Resources at WNS Global Services. Julie also has experience at Ackermans, where they held various HR Manager roles from July 2006 to July 2014, and at TFG (The Foschini Group), where they had several senior HR roles from February 2000 to February 2003. Earlier in their career, Julie owned HR Management Services from October 2005 to June 2006 and worked as an HR Manager/Business Partner at Psitek from February 2003 to September 2005. Julie began their professional journey as an HR Graduate Trainee at TFG in 1995.

Julie Knapp completed their education history with a BA Honours degree in Industrial Psychology from Stellenbosch University. Julie attended the university from 1990 to 1993. Prior to that, they obtained their Matric degree from The Settlers High School, which they attended from 1985 to 1989. In addition to their formal education, Julie Knapp has obtained certifications from LinkedIn in "Jodi Glickman on Pitching Yourself" in January 2021 and "How to Manage Feeling Overwhelmed" in July 2020.
