SnapScan
Nadia Naidoo's work experience begins in 2020 as a Tutor at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, where they worked until December 2020. In 2021, they joined Jembi Health Systems as a Junior Software Developer, and they stayed with the company until August 2022. Following that, Nadia worked as a Python Developer at VBO Global (Pty) Ltd. from November 2022 to February 2023. Currently, they are employed as a Software Engineer at SnapScan, starting in March 2023.
Nadia Naidoo completed their education in computer science at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. Nadia first earned a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from 2017 to 2019. Nadia further pursued their studies at the same institution and completed a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in computer science in 2020.
SnapScan
SnapScan is a mobile payments app, providing South Africans with the most convenient way to pay with their phones. The app was named MTN App of the Year in 2013, and now boasts a network of over 50 000 merchants nationwide, with one million app downloads to date. SnapScan is an easy, affordable and convenient way for merchants to accept payments; as well as a safe, secure and seamless payment option for users. SnapScan combines the agility and speed of a small local startup with the industry knowledge and experience of Standard Bank, Africa’s biggest bank. As a team, we love solving difficult problems, especially when it comes to making fast, easy mobile payments possible! SnapScan is a product of FireID Payments, part of the FireID group, a set of local startups building elegant solutions to a wide range of difficult and interesting problems.
