Paul Treurnicht has work experience as a Frontend Engineer at SnapScan since June 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Frontend Web Developer at Fastcomm from June 2020 to May 2021. Before Fastcomm, they worked at Travelstart as an Intermediate Software Developer from September 2019 to April 2020, and as a Junior Software Engineer from February 2018 to September 2019.
Paul Treurnicht obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from Pearson Professional South Africa. Their education at the institution lasted from 2014 to 2017.

SnapScan is a mobile payments app, providing South Africans with the most convenient way to pay with their phones. The app was named MTN App of the Year in 2013, and now boasts a network of over 50 000 merchants nationwide, with one million app downloads to date. SnapScan is an easy, affordable and convenient way for merchants to accept payments; as well as a safe, secure and seamless payment option for users. SnapScan combines the agility and speed of a small local startup with the industry knowledge and experience of Standard Bank, Africa’s biggest bank. SnapScan is a product of FireID Payments, part of the FireID group, a set of local startups building elegant solutions to a wide range of difficult and interesting problems.
