Ahmed Hassan

Ahmed Hassan is a High Voltage Engineer at Snowy Hydro since February 2025, leading HV system testing and commissioning for the Hunter Power Station and overseeing substation construction and energization. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Electrical Project Engineer at ACCIONA AU & NZ, where leadership in the electrical engineering scope for the Macintyre Wind Farm established standards for substation design and commissioning. As an Electrical Project Engineer at CAF, significant contributions were made to the Parramatta Light Rail Project through coordination and site management. Previously, as an Electrical Design Engineer at WSP in Australia, technical expertise in load lists and single-line diagrams was demonstrated. Early in the career, as a Team Leader Electrical Engineer at ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC, project management was directed for medium and low voltage networks. Ahmed has also earned two diplomas from Structuralia in Wind Energy and Design and Management of Energy Projects.
