Cheng Chen

Cheng Chen is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in quantitative risk analysis and financial instrument valuation. Currently serving as a Senior Quantitative Risk Analyst at Snowy Hydro Limited since March 2017, Cheng has previously held positions as Finance Manager for Wholesale Energy Trading, Senior Associate at Westpac Group, and Senior Analyst at Deloitte Australia. Cheng's expertise encompasses a wide range of financial markets, including interest rate and cross currency swaps, forward exchange contracts, and various derivatives. Proficient in hedge accounting and compliance with AASB standards, Cheng also possesses a strong background in internal treasury audits and financial planning. Cheng holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Applied Finance from Macquarie University and a Diploma in Commerce from the Sydney Institute of Business and Technology.
