SOAR
Karina Lorenc is an experienced professional with a diverse background in hospitality, education, and youth programs. Currently serving as the Registrar at SOAR since April 2021 after progressing from Office Assistant and Executive Assistant, Karina has effectively managed administrative responsibilities. Prior experience includes roles at Biltmore as Winery Supervisor, leading a team of approximately 120 employees, and as Harvest Hand, where Karina was involved in grape picking. Additional roles encompass bartending at Sante Wine Bar and work as a Life Guard II at YMCA of Western North Carolina. Early career experiences include mentoring and tutoring at Green Mountain College and serving as a Residential Coach and Activity Specialist, focusing on therapeutic work and outdoor education. Karina holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Adventure Education from Green Mountain College.

SOAR
SOAR is an accredited ADHD Summer Camp, Boarding School, and GAP Year Program. We serve youth and young adults with ADHD and other Learning Disabilities in North Carolina, Wyoming, California, Florida, and internationally! Our adventure based programs provide academic instruction, experiential education, and life skills development for youth and young adults ages 8-25. Created in 1977 by an adult with learning disabilities, SOAR provides fun and successful experiences so that participants may gain greater awareness of their own strengths and improve self-esteem and confidence.
