Asoke Talukder has a strong background in computer science and engineering. Asoke currently works as an Adjunct Faculty at NITK Surathkal, where they started in 2021. Asoke also serves as an AI Advisor at BlueRose Technologies starting in 2023.
Prior to their current roles, Asoke held various positions including Chief Science Officer at SRIT India Pvt. Ltd. from 2018 onwards and AI Advisor at ICICI Lombard from 2022 to 2023.
Before that, they co-founded and served as the Chief Scientific Officer at InterpretOmics India Pvt Ltd from 2008 to 2017. Additionally, they held academic positions as an Adjunct Professor at NIT Warangal from 2008 to 2015 and at ABV- Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management, Gwalior, India from 2009 to 2015.
Asoke has also held executive positions such as Executive Director & CTO at Sobha Renaissance Information technology from 2007 to 2009 and Vice President - Technology at Tyfone Communications from 2006 to 2007.
Earlier in their career, they worked as a DaimlerChrysler Chair Professor at the International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore from 2003 to 2006, where they taught security engineering and mobile computing and contributed to research publications and books in these fields.
Asoke Talukder completed their Higher Secondary education at Baranagar Narendranath Vidyamandir from 1962 to 1968. Asoke then went on to pursue their M.Sc and Ph.D degrees in various fields including Physics, Biophysics, and Telecommunication at the University of Calcutta and IIIT Bangalore from 1968 to 2007.
