Soccer Without Borders’ mission is to use soccer as a vehicle for positive change. In the USA, we provide newcomer refugee, asylee, and immigrant youth with a toolkit to overcome obstacles to growth, inclusion and personal success. Internationally, our programs engage under-served communities. What We Do: We provide team-based programming to youth who are traditionally excluded from sports-based and extracurricular activities. Our activity framework provides participants with an avenue for positive engagement, a platform for personal growth, and a toolkit for a brighter future. That framework includes: soccer play and instruction, team-building, civic engagement, off-field education, and cultural exchange. Through these activities and with the support of caring coaches and mentors in a close-knit team environment, youth gain access to the skills and networks they need to reach their potential. Where We Work: Soccer Without Borders currently operates 7 year-round programs in 3 countries on 3 continents. Please visit www.soccerwithoutborders.org for more information on each of our program sites. [Soccer Without Borders is not in any way affiliated with Doctors Without Borders.
