Gurumurthy Viswanathan has extensive work experience, starting in 1999 at Tata Tea Limited as an Accounts Executive. In 2002, they joined Eserve International Limited as a Process Officer. From October 2004 to August 2021, they worked at Societe Generale Global Solution Centre in various leadership roles, including Vice President and Head of Client Referential & Regulatory Data Management. GURUMURTHY also served as the Head of Fund Accounting Services and Head of Client Onboarding and Referential Data Management. Most recently, they held the position of Vice President and Head of CSR Corporate Citizenship.
Gurumurthy Viswanathan completed their primary and secondary education at Vanavani Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Chennai from 1991 to 1993. GURUMURTHY then pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on Accounting and Finance, Auditing, and Taxation at Guru Nanak College in Chennai from 1993 to 1996. Following this, they obtained a Masters in Commerce degree from Annamalai University from 1999 to 2001, specializing in Accounting and Finance, Audit & Taxation, Financial Management & Management Accounting.
