Keshava Basappa has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Keshava started their career as a Software Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services in 2001, where they worked on developing fixed income trading systems using .NET technology. Keshava also served as a consultant for Lehman Brothers during this time.
In 2007, Keshava joined Societe Generale Global Solution Centre. Keshava held various positions within the company, including Technical Consultant, Project Manager, and Account Manager. Keshava later took on leadership roles such as Head of HR Services and Head of Transformation for Investment Banking Market IT. Their most recent positions include serving as Chief Of Staff and Chief Operating Officer for the Investment Banking Division.
Throughout their career, Keshava has gained expertise in investment banking regulatory IT, operations, and market IT. Keshava has also demonstrated strong leadership and project management skills.
Keshava Basappa completed a one-year part-time program in General Management for Information Technology from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore in 2012. Prior to that, they completed a program in Competitive Analysis for Strategic Advantage from the same institution in 2011. Keshava holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from UVCE (University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering) which they obtained between 1994 and 1998.
