Prior to that, Unnikrishnan served as the Head of IT - Risk & PNL Certification, Accounting/Inventory/Market Data Referential at Societe Generale Global Solution Centre. Unnikrishnan had accountability for a 5M Euro budget and managed a team of 200 employees globally. Unnikrishnan led the Scaled Agile Transformation of their team and played a significant role in key digital transformation objectives for the finance, risk, and market data division. Unnikrishnan successfully implemented strategies for big data, cloud, SOA, UX/UI, chatbot, and AI/ML. Additionally, they managed regulatory programs, accounting, inventory, and market data referential systems.
Before joining Societe Generale, Unnikrishnan held positions at Keane and Infosys Ltd. At Keane, they served as a Senior Program Manager - Delivery Manager, specializing in BFSI & Telecom. At Infosys Ltd, they worked as a Programmer Analyst - Project Lead and Onsite Project Coordinator, primarily focusing on projects for American Express.

Unnikrishnan Kovilakom completed their education in a chronological order starting from 1992. Unnikrishnan began by studying Pre-Degree in Science at the University of Calicut from 1992 to 1994. Afterwards, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Physics at the same university from 1994 to 1997. Finally, they obtained a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Instrumentation from the Cochin University of Science and Technology, studying from 1997 to 2000.
