John Estrada

John Estrada is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in foreign exchange (FX) trading and leadership. As of March 2024, John serves as the Global Head of FX at Societe Generale. Prior to this role, John held several senior positions at Credit Suisse from September 2011 to December 2023, including Global Head of FX, Global Co-Head of FX, Global Head of eMacro, and Global Head of eFX Trading. John's earlier experience includes serving as an eFX Trader at BNP Paribas, a Financial Engineer at Sun Trading LLC, and a Trader and Quant Developer at Lehman Brothers. John's career began as a Researcher at Sandia National Laboratories. John obtained a PhD in Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from California State University-Sacramento.
