Joseph Shropshire

Joseph Shropshire is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles within prominent financial institutions. Currently serving as Deputy Chief Financial Officer at Societe Generale since April 2018, Joseph has also held the positions of Chief Financial Officer for the Americas and Americas Head of ALM and Treasury. Prior experience includes serving as Treasurer for the Americas at Credit Suisse and Regional Treasurer, APAC at UBS, where Joseph also contributed as Country Controller for Singapore and Korea, Chief Operating Officer of Group Treasury, and Executive Director involved in securitized products. Joseph's career began at PaineWebber as a Senior Vice President in Mortgage Backed Securities, and included a role as Director at RBC Capital Markets in the ABS Principal Finance Group. Joseph holds an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and a degree in Economics from Boston College.
