Established in 1994, the Society for Clinical Data Management (SCDM) is a non-profit professional organization dedicated to connect and inspire professionals managing global health data with global education, certification and advocacy. 

Our objective is to guarantee progress in the industry, leading the evolution from Clinical Data Management toward Clinical Data Science.

The Certified Clinical Data Manager program recognizes CDM professionals with comprehensive  expertise. To obtain the CCDM credential, candidates must meet minimum requirements of education and experience and pass a rigorous examination. Certification is renewed every three years through successful completion of continuing education programs.
