Lisa S. has extensive work experience in project management and conference services. Lisa began their career as the Director, Media Services at The John Marshall Law School from 1993 to 1998. Lisa then worked as a Delivery Manager at Catapult Software Training, An IBM Company from 1998 to 2000. After that, Lisa joined The Pampered Chef as a Project Supervisor, overseeing budgets, contracts, and overall business management for the meetings and incentives department from 2000 to 2008. From 2008 to 2013, they worked at IEEE as the Manager, Conference Services, managing conference business and planning activities for the IEEE Signal Processing Society. Lisa then joined AM PM Solutions as a Project Manager/Consultant from 2013 to 2015, providing project management consulting services for major clients including associations and philanthropic organizations. Currently, they are the Director of Project Management at Society of Actuaries since 2015.

Lisa S. has a Master's Degree in Fine Art from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art from Kendall College of Art and Design. In 2014, they obtained a Certification in Project Management from Harper College. In addition to their degrees and certification, Lisa also holds several additional certifications including Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute, Project Management Specialist CE from Harper College, and Certified Meeting Professional from the Convention Industry Council.
