Stuart Klugman

Stuart Klugman has an extensive background in actuarial science, currently serving as a Senior Staff Fellow at the Society of Actuaries since 2009, providing actuarial support to the SOA's Education Department focused on membership qualifications. Prior to this role, Stuart held the position of Principal Financial Group Professor of Actuarial Science at Drake University from 1988 to 2009 and served as an Associate Professor of Actuarial Science at the University of Iowa from 1974 to 1988. Stuart holds a PhD in Statistics from the University of Minnesota, obtained between 1970 and 1975, and earned a BS in Actuarial Science from Drake University from 1968 to 1970, having attended New College of Florida from 1966 to 1968.
