Katharine Gamble has extensive experience in the field of aerospace engineering and active involvement in the Society of Women Engineers. Currently serving as the Chair-Elect of the Program Development Grant Committee since July 2020, Katharine has held various leadership roles within SWE, including Chair and Chair-Elect of the WE Local Advisory Board and Graduate Member Coordinator. With a strong research background in systems engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, Katharine contributed to multiple CubeSat missions during their role as a Graduate Research Assistant. Academic credentials include a Master's and PhD in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical/Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University.
