Satyakam Sudershan

Satyakam Sudershan has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple companies and roles. Satyakam is currently the Director of BE Development at Socionext US since March 2023. Previously, they held the position of Director, ASIC Development Engineering at Western Digital from February 2021 to February 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Director at ALTEN Calsoft Labs from August 2020 to February 2021.

Before joining ALTEN Calsoft Labs, Satyakam Sudershan was employed at INVECAS as a Director, where they led the physical implementation effort for IP, ASIC, and Services business. Satyakam'sresponsibilities included managing a team of over hundred core design engineers and providing leadership and technical guidance. Satyakam worked at INVECAS from May 2018 to July 2020.

From May 2012 to May 2018, Satyakam Sudershan served as the Director Of Engineering at Cadence Design Systems. In this role, they led the physical design and RTL2GDSII implementation effort for the Digital IP group. Satyakam successfully delivered IP products for marquee electronic device makers.

Prior to that, Satyakam Sudershan was a Senior Manager at Magma Design Automation from April 2007 to March 2012. Satyakam led the India-wide RTL2GDS and DFT product development groups, overseeing engineering management, formal correctness and quality campaigns, and individual technical contributions.

Earlier in their career, Satyakam Sudershan worked at Mentor Graphics as a Manager from August 2003 to March 2007. Satyakam built, led, and managed product development teams and was involved in technical management, product ownership, project management, and technical architecture.

Satyakam Sudershan began their career as a Software Engineer at GeometricPLM, where they worked on the design and implementation of various projects, including a geometric translator for Solidworks. Satyakam worked at GeometricPLM from July 1997 to March 1998.

Satyakam completed their education at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, where they were a student from July 1996 to April 1997.

Satyakam Sudershan pursued their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, during the period of 1993 to 1997. Later, from 2010 to 2013, they enrolled at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, where they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Business, focusing on the field of study in International Business.
