Michael Mercer

Michael Mercer is an experienced culinary professional with a diverse background in catering and culinary management. Currently serving as a Catering Manager and Head Chef at Sodexo since February 2019, Michael has competed in prominent catering competitions, earning gold and silver medals. Additionally, Michael holds the position of Director at L&M Bespoke Catering Solutions and works as a Private Chef at Dineindulge, both since January 2022. Previously, Michael was part of the chef team for Silverstone Circuits Ltd from June 2014 to March 2023, contributing to the Formula 1 catering team. Michael's military experience includes serving as a chef in the British Army from January 2013 to February 2019, receiving commendations for outstanding service. Early career experiences include roles at Roast Restaurant Group Ltd, The Fighting Cocks, and Alworths Limited. Michael holds an NVQ and has completed NEBOSH training in 2019.
